summary: Savage, abrasive, barbaric. Fell is perpetually lonely despite being a successful herd stallion and territory leader. He feels isolated by his inability to speak.

history: Fell never learned how to communicate outside of violent action. He is unable to extricate his association of violence with communication and understanding. Fell's desire to be understood has been corrupted and bastardized by this association until it is unrecognizable from the desire to do harm to others.

Inevitably, Fell encounters people he does not want to hurt. He finds that turning his aggression outward and expressing it through the protection of his herd serves as an outlet for his impulses. He expresses love for his herd by defending them against enemies and by leaving his mares alone, assuming their lives are more peaceful the less of him they see. Fell has come to realize that there are souls in this world who actually enjoy his company, but he still struggles to express affection both directly and gently at the same time, and continues to feel uncomfortable with most forms of affection directed at him.
